In 2001 I set up my own consultancy business, based in Staffordshire, specialising in the production of primary educational resources.The business has expanded rapidly, with the roles I now undertake being challenging and varied. My work includes the writing of a range of different educational materials, running of teacher courses and writing materials for education-based websites or for companies who wish to have an education microsite on their main website. I illustrate and provide images for these products myself. I have also worked for QC.A on the team that produce the Key Stage 2 Science S.A.T materials, as well as writing all the primary Discovery Guides at The Natural History Museum, London.

I also offer a personalised service to clients who wish to build their own website. My service is completely flexible , depending on your needs , but can include a number of days working with me on the planning stage of your website and the initial building of the site. I can then work remotely to complete your site. I also offer training if you wish to add to and maintain the site yourself.

I still teach in a Warwickshire primary school two days a week and this remains fundamental to my consultancy work, ensuring my skills are up-to-date and relevant. I also love teaching and would greatly miss contact with children in the classroom. I built and maintain my school website.
